Your Life Story, Step by Step
We begin with a free 15-minute phone or Zoom consultation to get to know each other! This helps me understand your goals, story scope, and comfort level. I can answer any questions you have about the process and we can discuss topics you would like to cover - or not cover!
No pressure — just a warm conversation to see if we’re a fit.
Interview & Filming
Our professional film crew with over 25 years of video production experience (normally 2 people for the basic package) will come to your home to record a relaxed, one-on-one interview.
I will ask some basic biographical questions, but mostly I want to capture your personality and unique life experiences.
It’s not scripted, just a real conversation, thoughtfully guided and professionally filmed.
Editing & Production
We shape your story into a beautifully edited documentary, using the highest quality video editing software, licensed music, and optional family photos or clips depending on the package you choose.
We will also prepare a 1-2 minute shareable "highlight reel", easy to share via text or social media.
This process can take a few weeks to get the story right (so please book in advance for special events!) Our team will send you samples along the way, and if there are any parts you don't like, we will remove them. It is your story!
You’ll receive your Life Story on a keepsake USB and via a secure digital link. This link can easily be emailed to friends or family members anywhere around the world for them to download in the comfort of their own homes! No stamps required.
